ORGANIZATION
FUND FOR HORSES CHARITIES ("Horse Charities") is a United States
501(c)(3) non profit public charity incorporated on October 28, 2004, and organized
in accordance with the laws of the State of Texas.
TAX STATUS
Horse Charities received tax exempt status
effective from the date of its incorporation. Donations are therefore 100% tax deductible
as provided by law.

OPERATING STRUCTURE
Horse
Charities is overseen by a Board of Directors and Officers, and operated by a highly skilled and dedicated team of
volunteers and administrative staff. It is able to pay its overhead
expenses through cash and in kind contributions donated specifically for that purpose.
Horse Charities manages its charitable programs individually and pays related expenses through cash and in kind donations
of goods and services.
MISSION
The Mission of Fund for Horses Charities is to
promote and safeguard the health,
safety and welfare of equines. It accomplishes this by:
1. developing and distributing educational programs on horse care, treatment and safety,
2. raising awareness on all manner of horse welfare issues and concerns,
3. intervening during crisis situations,
4. developing and participating in media and other campaigns promoting the dignity, respect and status of equines; and
5. providing financial and other support for qualifying organizations who provide rescue, sanctuary,
rehabilitation, retraining, and therapy for equines under their care and control. |
